Culture of Peace” A Student-Led Exhibition at the IMFRIS
The exhibition is the result of interdisciplinary work between social work students in two training programs, Educateur Spécialisé and Assistant de Service Social. As part of their pedagogical sequence titled “Monde Pluriel”, these students have collaborated to create an inspiring exhibition dedicated to the Culture of Peace.
The exhibition is titled “Parole, Couleur pour la Paix” (“Words and Colors for Peace”), intertwining different forms of artistic expressions to convey messages of peace and non-violence:
- Paintings created by primary school children symbolizing innocence and hope.
- Poetry and musical performances serving as powerful emotional tools for advocating peace.
- Photographs of iconic figures who have fought for peace, offering historical references.
The exhibition is hosted in the library of our school, a central space visited daily by many students. It is also designed as an interactive space where visitors are encouraged to co-create a collective painting.
“We are only placing a small stone in the ocean,” say the students behind the project, “but through this exhibition, we hope to inspire people to recognize the importance of peace education and collective responsibility.”
