Youth for Peace – Closing Ceremony

The Youth for Peace project concluded with a vibrant and inspiring closing ceremony, uniting 45 participants including youth workers, volunteers, teachers, members of local clubs, and representatives from AEDA and ASED.
Held at the AEDA Office in Akouda, the event served as a heartfelt moment of reflection, celebration, and renewed commitment to fostering peace within communities.

Supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, the Youth for Peace initiative has empowered young people across Europe and the Mediterranean with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to become true ambassadors of peace.
Throughout the project, participants engaged in interactive workshops, collaborative activities, and creative competitions designed to promote mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue, and solidarity among youth.

During the closing ceremony, participants proudly unveiled the Peace Education Manual — a comprehensive resource developed collaboratively during the project.
Alongside this manual, a range of practical tools was introduced to support educators, youth workers, and community leaders in embedding peace education within their daily work.
These materials embody the creativity, insight, and collective experience of the young participants, ensuring that the project’s values continue to inspire action long after its completion.

Participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a common mission — building more inclusive and peaceful communities.
