20 teachers and trainers from IMFRIS Participate in Workshops on the “Youth for Peace” Dossier
As part of the “Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea” project, 20 trainers and teachers from IMFRIS took part in October 2024 in two training sessions through interactive workshops to delve into the themes of the Dossier’s modules. Throughout the workshops participants examined pedagogical strategies and methodologies to promote human rights education in the context of youth work.
For IMFRIS, the Youth for Peace project represents a valuable opportunity to enrich our learning methods and develop pedagogical materials by incorporating an intercultural approach to the Culture of Peace.
We believe these concepts are fundamental for future social workers, who will have to deal with these challenges throughout their careers. By integrating this perspective into our educational framework, we equip our teachers and students with the necessary tools to address social issues with a global vision.
At the end of the session, the French version of the Dossier was uploaded to the learning platform provided by FORO. This ensures effective dissemination and transforms the platform into a learning resource, extending the project’s impact into the future. All participants were granted access to all training modules and assessment questionnaires. These resources enable trainers to verify the knowledge gained during the workshops.
