Creation of the Dossier for Youth Workers: Empowering Agents of Change in the Mediterranean

As part of the Youth for Peace in the Mediterranean Sea project, we are thrilled to unveil the Dossier for Youth Workers, a unique training resource developed to support youth professionals in promoting peace, inclusion, and social justice across the Mediterranean region.

This dossier is the result of collaborative efforts between nine organizations from eight countries, drawing on diverse experiences and expertise. It offers youth workers a structured framework to address pressing challenges such as cultural diversity, discrimination, and social exclusion.

What’s Inside the Dossier?

  • Practical Case Studies: Real-world examples to inspire strategies for fostering peaceful coexistence.
  • Training Modules: Tools and concepts covering human rights education, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, and social justice.
  • Interactive Exercises: Activities like role-playing and group discussions to encourage participation and reflection.
  • Sustainability Framework: Steps to ensure continued youth engagement and long-term community impact.

The dossier also integrates input from participants who have tested its content in workshops and practical scenarios. It has sparked deep reflection among youth workers, enabling them to tailor solutions for diverse groups, including young people, women, and the elderly.

This resource underscores our shared vision for a peaceful, inclusive Mediterranean and equips youth workers with the tools to make this vision a reality.
